Bonfire and fireworks to make return
AN ANNUAL bonfire and fireworks display takes place at Riddlesden on Saturday, November 8.
The Friends of St Mary’s School is staging the event, in the grounds of the Grange Road school, between 6pm and 8pm.
There will be a toddlers’ display at 6.30pm, the main show at 7.10pm and the bonfire at 6.50pm.
Refreshments on sale will include soup, baked potatoes, pie and peas, hot dogs, burgers and drinks.
Entry to the event is by programme, available – priced £3 per person – from village shops.
Admission on the night costs £3.50. Children of nursery age and under go free.
