ALAN Titchmarsh has gone behind the walls of Buckingham Palace for a new show about its gardens.
The Ilkley broadcaster (pictured) spent a year at the palace exploring the 39 acres.
The two-part ITV show, called The Queen’s Garden, uses technology to follow its progress through the seasons and meet the staff who work there.
Historian Lucy Worsley will delve into its origins as a hunting ground for King Henry VIII and examine archive footage showing the part it has played in royal family life.
