MUSIC from the fabulous Fifties is roaring back to Bradford for a spectacular night to raise funds for the Alzheimer’s Society.

Sounds from one of the greatest eras in rock and roll will be storming Bradford Grammar School on Saturday, November 15, with a chance to Rock Around The Clock.

Stephanie Crabtree, Alzheimer’s Society dementia support worker, said: “We know lots of people love the Fifties and some are coming in the style of the time to jive the night away for a great cause. A number of us are dressing the part – with the girls doing hair and make up to match – and we hope a lot of people coming will do the same.”

As well as playing the rock and roll standards, band Motif will hammer out dance floor fillers from across the ages for all ages.

Mrs Crabtree added: “We also have an auction and there will be a professionally kitted-out Fifties photo booth with period props. There will also be a three-course meal with a modern menu – music of the era is great but we drew the line at '50s fifties food.”
