STAFF at the Gomersal branch of McColl’s will be getting into the Hallowe’en spirit today as part of a national campaign to reduce heart conditions affecting young people.
The neighbourhood retailer has joined forces with Cardiac Risk in the Young (CRY) and St George’s, University of London, for the campaign, which ran for the first time last year and raised more than £170,000.
All money raised will support research into sudden cardiac death.
Donations can be made in-store until November 18 – information is at treatcry.org.
