A GLAMOROUS celebration of art, food and music is set for Bradford next month.

The event on November 21 from 6pm will see a charity art auction in aid of the Lord Mayor’s charity supporting the Marie Curie Hospice and other local causes with grants up to £1,000.

Some money will also go Forster Community College, with lots going under the hammer including a sculpture by Sam Shendi and work by artist Tim Curtis.

The evening also marks the start of a new business venture called Eat Art Venues, a company encouraging artists both in Bradford and surrounding areas to showcase their work on a trail of venues such as Midland Hotel, Diva Restaurant, Forsters Bistro & Deli and Bradford Brewery which are just a few on that trail.

It will also look to commission artists, create fun and inspiring workshops with the idea of getting it seen by a wider audience and bring a bigger footfall into the city.

Artists taking part so far are Sam Shendi, Tim Curtis, Felicia Charles, Deborah Gardener, John Wood, Justin Steadman, Sally McArther and Jay Gadhia. The evening will start at City Hall and then move on to Forsters Bistro & Deli in City Park.
