A GROUP of students has completed a vocational programme provided by Keighley Astronomical Society.
They have been rewarded for finishing the five week Introduction to Astronomy qualification.
Dominic Curran, secretary at astronomical society, said: “The course covered the basics of science, including the formation and operation of the Earth, Moon and Sun, the solar system, stars and galaxies.”
The successful students were: Jane Liddle, Debbie Spurr, Neville Whittingham, William Holmes, Ryan Gill, Thomas Slater and Simon Robinson.
