BRADFORD popstar Melissa Steel says it felt “amazing” to be nominated for a MOBO award for her debut single.
The 21-year-old (pictured) was shortlisted for the Best Newcomer prize at the ceremony, which celebrates the best of British and international urban music, including R&B, reggae and hip hop.
She was one of ten nominees in the category at the ceremony at Wembley Arena in London on Wednesday.
Melissa tweeted ‘Had a great time at the MOBOS last night! Felt amazing to be nominated for best newcomer after only one single!! #justTheBeginning”.
