War heroes exhibition
A FREE exhibition will remember Cottingley’s Heroes of the First World War.
Cottingley Village History Society has organised the exhibition,‘Remembering Cottingley’s Heroes of WW1’.
It will be held at The Cornerstone Centre, Cottingley, on Saturday and Sunday, November 8 and 9 between 10am and 4pm.
More than 150 men associated with the village served during the conflict with 30 dying in combat and five received awards for gallantry.
