MORE than half of drivers across Yorkshire and the Humber have seen cars with only one working headlight during their evening commute, new figures have revealed.
According to a survey by the AA, 51 per cent of respondents observed faulty lights, which the motoring group claim contributed to 168 accidents and eight deaths last year.
Drivers risk a fine, points on their licence, or worse if they cause an accident and the AA is encouraging people to check their vehicles as the clocks go back this weekend.
