Man to face trial over rape counts
A 27-YEAR-OLD man denied repeatedly raping a woman, when he appeared at Bradford Crown Court.
Daniel Smith, of Wibsey Bank, Bradford, pleaded not guilty to six charges of rape at four different locations in Bradford, between February 1, 2011, and December 19 last year when he appeared at the court yesterday.
He also denied an accusation that he assaulted the same woman and caused her actual bodily harm on April 23, 2011.
His four-day trial is fixed for April 13.
Smith’s bail was extended until the next hearing.
