Rail delays after person hit by a train at Crossflatts
A PERSON has died after being struck by a train at Crossflatts.
The incident has led to major rail disruption between Skipton and Bradford.
The incident happened shortly after 3.35pm and British Transport Police are investigating.
National Rail said there was disruption to journeys on the Airedale Line between Skipton, Bradford Forster Square and Leeds.
Trains are currently unable to run between Skipton and Bradford Forster Square and replacement buses have been requested.
Delays are expected to continue until 6pm.
