WEST Yorkshire Police’s vehicle fleet has been shortlisted for a 2014 Green Fleet Award, which recognise organisations’ commitment to ecological transport management.
The force fleet is up against four other nominees for the Public Sector Fleet of the Year award in the medium to large category.
It is the first time the force has been shortlisted for the ecological credentials of its vehicles and the awards will be presented by motoring expert Quentin Willson at a ceremony at the Heritage Motor Centre Museum in Warwickshire on October 30.
