A 21-YEAR-OLD man caught stealing £220 worth of cosmetics has been sentenced to a 12 month community order.
Lee Buckle, of Halifax Road, Keighley, admitted the offence at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court yesterday.
The court heard he was captured on CCTV cameras shoplifting at Boots in the Airedale Centre, Keighley, at midday on August 16.
A member of the public reported the theft and Buckle was detained when he returned to the store later that day.
He also admitted stealing £34 worth of goods from Asda in Keighley on September 23.
Buckle was a drug user seeking help for his addiction, the court was told.
He was ordered to undertake a Drug Rehabilitation Requirement as part of his sentence.
