A RECENTLY installed piece of street art near Bradford Cathedral has been vandalised with graffiti.
The striking image of biblical hero Samson was installed in an archway on Church Bank in Little Germany last month by a Banksy-style artist known only as Mooney.
The realistic image of the strongman seemingly pushing apart the two pillars has been well received by most who have seen it.
But now the work, commissioned by the Little Germany Action Group, has been defaced with a black graffiti "tag" over Samson's body.
The enigmatic Mooney has promised that other works of art will soon pop up throughout Bradford.
