A GROUP of friends took part in a gruelling challenge to raise money for Haworth Riding for the Disabled.
The quartet – Chris Chamberlain, David Fisher, Tom Smith and Darren Banks – tackled the Tough Mudder, a 10-mile energy-sapping obstacle course designed by the special forces.
Together they raised over £1,000 through the event, at Broughton Hall.
"They decided to take part on our behalf because Chris' daughter Lily Rose rides with us," said Jane Lawrence, fundraiser with Haworth RDA.
"David tackled it on his own for us last year and said he would do it again as long as Chris also took part!
"We are very grateful to all four for being brave enough to take on such a challenge on our behalf."
Mr Chamberlain said: "I would recommend to anyone having a go at the Tough Mudder but you need to be part of a team to cheer one another along.
"I wanted to raise funds for Haworth RDA because of the good work it does improving the lives of young people with disabilities."
