WEST Yorkshire police are helping trace a man wanted on prison recall who has links to Bradford.
Barry McGrath, 36, breached his prison release licence for failing to stay at an approved address in the Boroughbridge Road area of York and for displaying poor behaviour.
McGrath, who has links to Bradford and Leeds, had been serving a two-year prison sentence for affray and possession of an offensive weapon offences when he was released early .
He is white, of medium build, 5ft 7in and he has short fair hair and blue eyes. He has a distinctive large mole on his right cheek.
Although officers believe he is not a significant risk to the public, people should not approach him.
Inspector Mike Fenton, of the Scarborough Safer Neighbourhood team, said: βIt is very important that Barry McGrath is arrested and returned to prison as soon as possible. He is fully aware of the conditions placed on his early release from prison, yet he blatantly flouted them within days of getting out.β
