Firefighters rescue youth from town hall roof
A YOUTH rescued from the roof of Keighley town hall early this morning said he had gone up to retrieve a football.
Firefighters from Bradford station were called to the town hall by police at about 5am.
A spokesman for the station said there were three youths at the town hall and one was on the roof.
He added: "They said they were playing football and the ball had landed on the roof."
Fire crews used an hydraulic platform to get to the youth.
