Attempt to cook potato waffles resulted in Little Horton house fire
A FAMILY of three fled a house in Little Horton, Bradford, yesterday after the cooker caught fire.
They had been making potato waffles for dinner but forgot to turn the grill off.
A spokesman for Odsal fire station said a build-up of food on the grill pan had set alight and added that the cooker was destroyed.
Firefighters were called to the property on Arum Street at about 12 midday.
