A MAN who failed to apply for planning permission for a car valeting business in Bradford was fined at court today.
Imtiaz Khan's firm, which was on land at the junction of Nelson Street and Mill Lane, was issued with an enforcement notice by Bradford Council in May 2012.
The court heard that the business was based at the scene of a fire that tore through Ivy Mills, on Mill Lane, last month.
Prosecutor Harjit Ryatt said Khan had continued to operate the business after the notice was issued by the Council.
Khan was fined £250 and told to pay £500 costs and a £25 surcharge - a total of £775.
