A HUNT is on for two car jackers who dragged a pensioner from his vehicle and drove off in it.
The 68-year-old man was in a red Ford Focus in the car park of the Richard Dunn Sports Centre at Odsal when he was approached by the pair who were in dark clothing.
They threatened him and there was a struggle during which the victim was dragged from his car.
The robbers then drove off down the dual carriageway towards the Staygate roundabout.
The victim was shaken, but otherwise unhurt.
The robbery happened at 10.40am yesterday.
Detective Sergeant Rob Worley, of Bradford District CID, said: "We are appealing to anyone who might have seen these men in the time leading up to, or shortly after, the incident, or anyone who saw a car of similar description being driven away at speed from Rooley Avenue around that time."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Constable Lilley at Bradford District CID, on 101, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
