POLICE are warning people not to approach a Bradford burglar wanted on recall to prison.

Jason Allan Green, 41, was jailed for two years and nine months in March 2012 but was freed on licence which police say he has now breached.

Green is known to have connections to the Thorpe Edge, Idle and Eccleshill areas of Bradford and also walks with a limp as a result of an injury to his left leg.

Detectives in Bradford CID are appealing for information to trace him and have urged people to contact them if they see him.

Inspector George Bardell, of the Bradford East Area Neighbourhood Team, said: "Everything is being done to trace Green, who has breached the conditions of his prison licence.

"If he is not prepared to adhere to these strict guidelines then he must be brought to justice and recalled to prison.

"I would urge anyone who sees him to contact Bradford CID on 999 or anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."

Meanwhile, a manhunt is continuing for escaped Bradford prisoner Ian Stirzaker, 35, who failed to return to Hatfield open prison, near Doncaster, on Sunday, August 10.
