TWO raiders are being hunted by police after breaking into a shop in Oxenhope today.

The pair, who were wearing dark clothing, stole cigarettes after using cutting equipment to get into a store on Station Road at about 1am.

After leaving the store they fled the scene in a car, which police believe was a dark blue Ford Mondeo. Detectives think it was driven off towards Haworth.

Detective Inspector Neil Benstead, of Bradford District CID, said: "We would be interested to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at this time, or anyone who might have seen the vehicle in Oxenhope in the time leading up to or shortly after the incident."

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
