POLICE seized a scooter in Shipley after discovering the driver had obtained his insurance fraudulently.
The male rider was stopped during a search of the recreation area off Owlett Road, after complaints from concerned local residents about anti-social behaviour involving motorbikes.
He was reported for the offence, and the scooter was seized by Bradford's anti-social behaviour bike team on Sunday afternoon until valid insurance can be put in place.
Pc Hitchcocks, of the ASB bike team, said: “Uninsured vehicles are a danger to road users. The vehicles can be poorly maintained, and the rider often risks of injury to members of the community."
