Adult and four children escape house fire in Wyke
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a house fire in Wyke this morning in which a back bedroom suffered severe smoke damage. An adult and four children had already gathered safely outside the property, on Griffe Road, before crews from Odsal and Brighouse arrived at 6.30am, using breathing apparatus and ventilation fans to extinguish the blaze.
