MONEY raised at a Bradford church's family fun day is to be used towards the refurbishment of a community centre in Great Horton.
The Chapel of Grace organised the social event, which featured a barbecue, bouncy castle and table tennis, to bring together members of the church and the local community.
The highlight was a yard sale in which clothes, furniture and electrical items were auctioned off to raise funds to help restore the building, which the church hopes to use as a crèche and youth centre.
Pastor Andrea Onduku said: “This is our way of giving to society, helping those in need and building on our good community relationship."
