A MAN has today been cleared of keeping a brothel in the Bradford area.
Ahmed Marin, 25, of The Gatehaus, Leeds Road, Bradford, denied keeping a brothel for the purpose of prostitution, between August 22 and September 12 last year.
Marin, who was assisted by a Romanian interpreter at Bradford Crown Court, walked free from the dock after the charge was dropped on the direction of Judge Peter Benson, who gave a formal verdict of not guilty.
Prosecutor Robert Galley said the Crown offered no evidence against Marin.
He told the court a number of people were present at the property when it was raided.
Girls found at the scene, who had since been questioned by the police, had not implicated Marin.
