A FUN-filled community mela delighted children and families in Bradford yesterday.
More than 70 youngsters played football and cricket, enjoyed face-painting, a bouncy castle, balloon artists and clowns at the free event at Girlington Cricket Club.
There was also a variety of stalls for older visitors to enjoy.
Nasreen Khan, a member of organisers Bradford Community Trident Council, said: "It was about all communities coming together so that they can interact with each other. It has been absolutely wonderful and the weather held up as well.
"The atmosphere has been fantastic - I am really pleased."
Mrs Khan added that medals were dished out to all the children who took part in the sports events.
