A GUIDED walk on Thursday will help promote a new leaflet of walks in and around Cliffe Castle Park in Keighley.

The walk, starting at 10.30am, is the last of three being held this month at the popular Keighley park.

The new Cliffe Castle Park Walks leaflet has been produced by members of the Cliffe Castle Park Conservation Group with contributions from Keighley Healthy Living, and was funded by Bradford Council’s Community Chest.

The leaflet features a map of the park, information about its history and what there is to see, and three walking routes. The aim is to encourage healthy exercise and appreciation of the park.

The leaflet is available from Keighley Healthy Living in Scott Street, Cliffe Castle Museum, the park’s cafe, and Keighley Library.

Walk leader Dan Brannan said: “The walk is a great opportunity to take some gentle exercise amongst the delightful scenery of Cliffe Castle.”
