DRIGHLINGTON Cricket Club are holding their second beer festival this weekend.

There will be 26 real ales and 15 ciders on sale over the four days, with half-pints charged at £1,30.

The festival starts at 5pm on Friday and continues at 1pm on Saturday, when attractions also include live cricket and bowls, plus the Rugby League Challenge Cup final on television.

The main events, however, are on Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday (1pm), when there will be a hog roast, South African food, burgers and chips etc, with live music on both days.

Monday: 2pm Melvin's Rockers (Born To Be Wild). 3pm Young, alternative rock band Bite The Bullitt. 4pm Up-and-coming star Mitchel Smith.
