POLICE are appealing for information after jewellery valued at a total of £90,000 was stolen from a house in Cross Hills near Skipton.
The suspects broke into the property in Clayton Hall Road through the back door between 8am and 5.15pm last Wednesday.
Officers believe they crossed fields to get to the back of the house.
Some of the stolen jewellery is very distinctive, including a white gold chain with pear-shaped emerald pendant, a yellow gold necklace with heart-shaped jade pendant surrounded by diamonds, a yellow gold square-shaped diamond solitaire ring, an Omega watch with a white gold strap and coloured gem stones around the face engraved with “Olympic Edition 2008” and a yellow gold Chinese-style bracelet with jade stones.
Police have appealed for witnesses and officers are particularly interested in speaking to anyone who noticed any suspicious vehicles in the area, including a small dark coloured car, to get in touch.
