POLICE are concerned for the welfare of a missing 62-year-old Bradford man who is in need of medication.

They are appealing for information about the whereabouts of Geoffrey Wood, who was last seen at about 11am on Tuesday in Grattan Road, Bradford.

Officers are increasingly concerned for his welfare as Mr Wood requires medication.

He is described as white, about 5ft 7ins tall, slim, with receding dark brown hair, and wears large rimmed glasses and was last seen wearing a dark blue three-quarter length raincoat, black trousers and brown shoes, and was carrying a black holdall.

He does not have a mobile phone and is believed to be carrying only a small amount of cash.

Mr Wood is known to frequent Bradford city centre and Shipley.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101, quoting log 410 of 7/8.
