POLICE are hunting two muggers who robbed a woman in Bradford last night.

The 36-year-old woman was walking along Tumbling Hill Street at 10.25pm when she was approached by the two men who demanded her property.

During a tussle one of the men stole her handbag and phone and the pair ran off towards Thornton Road, where it is believed they turned left.

The woman was left shaken but uninjured.

One suspect is described as white, about 5ft 7ins tall and believed to be in his mid-20s. He had short blond hair and was wearing a dark red T-shirt and dark jeans.

The other was white and slightly smaller, in his late teens or early 20s. He had brown, slightly longer hair with a side parting to the left.

He was wearing a grey long sleeved top, possibly hooded and dark trousers.

Detective Inspector Alan Flynn, of Bradford District CID, said: "This appears to have been an isolated attack, but reassurance patrols are being carried out in the area and will speak to residents about any concerns they might have."
