IT all adds up for students at Hipperholme Grammar School.
Jayvian Mavi and Nichola Backhouse achieved gold in the summer term 2014 Junior Maths Challenge part of national event involving a quarter of a million pupils across the country and run by the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust from the School of Mathematics at the University of Leeds.
To achieve gold, students are ranked in approximately the top two per cent of the UK's mathematical population.
Jayvian also achieved Best in School and Best in Year Eight and Nichola was Best in Year Seven. Harrison Layden-Fritz and Ben Cooper achieved bronze, along with Zainab Sajjad, Sophie Noble and Isabelle Williams.
