A TEENAGER was head-butted and punched during a late night robbery in Bradford.

The 18-year-old handed over his mobile phone and wallet after he was targeted on Chapel Lane, Allerton, at about 11.25pm on Friday.

Police have released an e-fit image of the suspect (pictured), who officers say ran towards Allerton Road following the attack. He is then believed to have turned left up the hill.

The victim suffered a small cut to his face but did not need hospital treatment.

The robber is described as white, slim and aged in his late teens. He was about 5ft 7in with short dark hair and was wearing a black jumper and jogging bottoms.

Detective Inspector Richard Partis, of Bradford District CID, said: "We believe the suspect was last seen running up Greenbank Road, towards Laytop Lane.

"Anyone who might recognise this man by his description, or who might have seen him shortly after the attack is asked to contact PC 1638 Barrett at Bradford District CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111."
