A PETITION by a Bradford MP calling on the Government to take strong action against the Israeli Government over "indiscriminate killings" in Gaza has gathered 23,000 signatures.
David Ward, Lib Dem MP for Bradford East, started the petition on Thursday.
He said: "It’s about time that the international community stood up for the people of Gaza, saying enough is enough and should the indiscriminate killings continue then direct action like boycotts and sanctions need to be seriously considered."
Last week, Mr Ward's party forced him to apologise after he posted a message on Twitter saying if he lived in Palestine he would "probably" send rockets at Israel.
