A BRADFORD primary school ended its year on a high - and for the headteacher it also marked the end of her time at the school.

Susan Hart is leaving All Saints CofE Primary School in Little Horton after seven years as head, and after 39 years of teaching across Bradford and Keighley. As well as celebrating Mrs Hart's time at the school the school also rewarded pupils that had great attendance.

Children with 100 per cent attendance had a limousine ride as a reward, and all those with 98 per cent attendance or higher had the chance of winning a bike, camera or DVD player. Mrs Hart said “Attendance has really improved over the last few years and is currently almost 96 per cent which is higher than National average."

And to give the school year a great send off, and to remember the year the Tour De France came to Yorkshire the school hosted a cycle day on Tuesday. The famous ‘3sixty’ bicycle stunt team showed off their skills to the children with two 30 minute "mesmerising" performances, as well as cycle training session for 20 children.

Children and staff wore Tour De France yellow or the colours of the French flag.
