AMATEUR actors from the New Community Arts Academy will debut a new comedy from tomorrow night.
The group will perform John Godber's play Bouncer for three nights until Saturday, at St James's Church on Bolton Road, Bradford, on Thursday night.
Four actors - Liam Cordingley, Garry Darbey, Samuel Swaine and Michail Mladenovic - directed by Damian Schalks will play a range of 24 separate male and female parts in the story, which centres on four nightclub bouncers.
Artistic director Russell Whittingham said: "It's a really energised production, and a piece of very physical theatre."
Tickets are £8, including a pie and pea supper and available from tncaa.com or (01274) 618148.
The play features some adult themes, so audience members must be aged 15 or over.
The group will soon be auditioning for productions of The Addams Family and Annie to run next year, and continues to run drama sessions for children on Wednesday evenings at St James's Church.
