DETECTIVES today issued this CCTV image of the getaway vehicle used by four robbers after a gunpoint raid at a Bradford business.

The raiders struck at the firm in Legrams Lane at about 9.30am yesterday.

One of the robbers, who was wearing dark clothing and had his face covered, walked into the premises carrying a gun.

A staff member saw him and ran to a safe area in the building and was unharmed.

Two more members of the gang, who were also wearing dark clothing and face coverings, then entered the premises and stole a quantity of cash and cigarettes.

They used a distinctive quilt cover bearing the motto 'Keep Calm and Carry On' during the raid.

The gang left the premises in the silver or grey Ford Galaxy car, which had tinted windows and roofbars. It was last seen driving along Thornton Road towards Bradford city centre.

No-one was injured in the raid.

Police said one of the robbers was also wearing a adidas hooded sports top, which had the sport company's logo on the back of the hood.

Detective Inspector Ryan Bragg, of Bradford District CID, today urged any potential witnesses who could identify either the Ford Galaxy car, the quilt cover or the adidas sports top to get in touch with police.

He said: "We are keen to trace this vehicle, which had tinted windows and roofbars.

"It also had a yellow air freshener attached to the windscreen.

"Someone will have seen this vehicle as it made its way from Legrams Lane towards the city centre, or perhaps after that and I would urge anyone with information to get in touch."

Det Insp Bragg added: "We are also keen to identify the distinctive quilt cover and a hooded top worn which was worn by one of the suspects.

"I would urge anyone who recognises either the quilt or the clothing, or who knows someone with similar to contact the police."

Anyone with information is urged to call Bradford District CID on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
