A TEAM of fundraisers from Keighley-based motor group Colin Appleyard has gone into overdrive to boost charity.
The contingent aimed to raise £1,000 for Macmillan Cancer Support through various activities.
But its efforts have already coined-in £1,700, with more cash still to come.
Karen Halifax and Tony Moyle ran the Edinburgh Marathon in May, and last month Judith Parker and John Appleyard took part in the Great North Swim at Windermere.
And a fifth team member, Pete Holmes, will tackle the Great North Run half-marathon in September.
Robin Appleyard, the firm's managing director, said: “Macmillan Cancer Support is a very worthy cause which, as a company, we are wholeheartedly supporting.
"The team has done extremely well and with Pete’s challenge still to come, I’m sure they will exceed the £2,000 mark.”
