A 24-YEAR-OLD man will appear in court on July 18 in connection with an incident at Keighley Railway Station.

A spokesman for British Transport Police (BTP) said officers had responded to the incident at the station earlier this month.

He added: “Police were called shortly before 6am on Thursday, July 3, following reports that a woman in her 40s and a teenage boy had been assaulted.

“Officers from BTP and West Yorkshire Police attended the scene."

A man of no fixed address was subsequently arrested and charged with battery, assault occasioning bodily harm and wounding with intent and he was remanded in custody to appear at Bradford and Keighley Magistrates' Court.
