A CONVICTED sex offender is going on trial accused of accessing Facebook in breach of a court order and 11 offences of making an indecent photo of a child.
David Hemsley, 49, of Union House Lane, Queensbury, denied 12 offences when he appeared on bail at Bradford Crown Court today.
They included an allegation that he went on the social networking site, between August, 2012, and April, 2013, when he was barred from doing so by a Sexual Offences Prevention Order imposed at the Crown Court in September 2011.
Hemsley also pleaded not guilty to 11 offences of making an indecent photo of a child, between October 30, 2012, and May 10, 2013.
He is accused of being in possession of more than 80 illegal images of children, between Level 1 and Level 4.
Hemsley, who wore a smart striped lilac shirt and braces for the short hearing, had his bail extended by Judge Colin Burn.
His trial was fixed to begin on September 23.
