TANKS rolled into Hunsworth yesterday ahead of this weekend's Yorkshire Wartime Experience.
The military artillery are among hundreds of other vehicles and attractions, including what is possibly the largest D-Day encampment spanning half an acre, appearing at the event which runs on Saturday and Sunday.
Ahead of the opening, local school children will have the opportunity tomorrow to view the vehicles, meet some of the re-enactment groups and take a peek at the First World War trench created on site as part of the commemoration for the First World War centenary.
