An exhibition called A Squash and A Squeeze is in its first week at a Bradford gallery.
It follows Julia Donaldson's journey from songwriter for children's television to former Children's Laureate, and aims to show how she inspires her readers with story, rhyme and rhythm. Also, children and families can share stories and explore sensory environments based on Donaldson's books.
Follow in Taddle Waddle's footsteps, climb into the cave with Cave Baby and meet The Gruffalo. Or sing-a-long to her songs on Julia's jukebox or perform a play on the stage.
The exhibition, at Cartwright Hall art gallery, is on Tuesday to Friday from 10am until 4pm, and Saturdays and Sundays between 11am and 4pm. It runs until November 9, 2014.
Entry costs £4 for adults, £4 for children aged over two years - it's free for under-twos - and free for adults accompanied by children.
