TALENTED film-making pupils will be guests at black-tie event next week.
Bradford Council’s Curriculum Innovation Team has been working with Zu3D and schools on the tenth Annual Film and Animation Competition.
On Tuesday, July 8 pupils, parents and teachers will view the children’s digital animation, visual story, film and photography work from the year on the big screen at the National Media Museum’s Pictureville Cinema.
The audience will vote for the winners who will be presented with an "Oscar” and a prize.
There are 26 entries from 12 schools across Bradford and Keighley and 170 pupils, teachers and parents have been invited.
Councillor Ralph Berry, executive member for children’s services, (pictured) said: "This is another example of our talented pupils celebrating their creativity and learning in a most appropriate venue.”
Paul Scott, Bradford Council’s Curriculum Innovation Service Manager, said: "There is a wealth of talent amongst the district’s pupils and year on year we see high imaginative works being created and submitted to this competition.”
