British Airways staff at Leeds Bradford Airport donned their deerstalkers as Sherlock Holmes to begin a world-record bid to raise money for the Yorkshire Brain Research Centre this week.
The charity is hoping to attract more than 2,000 fundraisers to Temple Newsam in Leeds on August 31 to break the record for the number of people dressed as the famous detective.
People can post “selfies” of themselves in Sherlock Holmes’ dress on social media sites ahead of the world record attempt and text BRAIN to 88811 to donate £5 to the charity.
The best photo will win return British Airways flights to London, a night at the five star Royal Horseguards, and a visit to the Sherlock Holmes Museum at 221B Baker Street.
