GREEN-fingered residents in Eccleshill and Thorpe Edge can have their good work recognised in a best gardens competition. Bloom In Ecc, the competition for Eccleshill villagers, is organised by the Men@EccyMeccy project at the Mechanics Institute. The winners will be announced at Eccleshill Village Fair on July 12 . Entry forms are available from the Mechanics Institute in Stone Hall Road.
Thorpe Edge Festival gardening competition winners will be announced at the Festival on Sunday, July 13. Both will be judged after June 30.
