A FREE family fun day will be held in Wibsey on Saturday.
The Incommunities event runs from 11am to 2pm and includes Mehndi hand painting, herb planting, robot building, a tombola, the chance to make friendship bracelets and also have a go at screen printing.
There will be raffles with prizes including the chance to win an adult bike, child’s bike and gym/fitness passes.
Staff from the social housing landlord's SWAN programme - a learning and wellbeing project - will be on hand to talk about the range of free courses available to residents.
Since it was set up in 2013, the SWAN team has delivered training to over 300 residents.
Steve Short, Director of Incommunities – Open Field, said: “If you are looking for something fun to do this weekend then why not pop along to the Enterprise Hub at Park View Mills, Wibsey Park Avenue?
“As well as lots of free family activities, people can find out about a range of free courses SWAN offers which can empower people to develop new skills, achieve personal goals and in some cases take an important step into work.”
