A HISTORIC church is opening its doors this Saturday, inviting in the whole community.

St Clement’s Church in Barkerend Road, Bradford, has got lots planned for the day from 1.30pm to 4pm with seed planting, a BD3 photo quiz as well as crafts, activities and face painting for children.

There will also be a performance by an inter-generational choir made up of local elders and primary school children.

The building dates back to 1892 and is now a grade II listed building famous for artwork from the designs of William Morris and Edward Burne-Jones. It also has a mosaic from Venice and three stained glass windows by Charles Eadmer Kempe.
