PUPILS at Lidget Green Primary School will be in London tomorrow to receive an anti-bullying award.

The children are among 60 others from across the country at the awards ceremony in Canary Wharf meeting Britain's Got Talent Bailey McConnell and CBBC's Dani Harmer - better known as Tracy Beaker.

The Diana Awards, set up as a legacy to Princess Diana, highlight some of the best peer-led anti-bullying practice taking place in primary schools across England.

The award organisers were impressed with how the Lidget Green youngsters focussed on celebrating the differences in their diverse school and led a whole school anti-bullying march around the school and local community to raise awareness of bullying.

Dani Harmer said: "The positive work these young people are doing is just brilliant. I believe young people can make a big difference in the world so Iā€™m thrilled to part of this initiative.ā€
