TWO cars parked on the same driveway were destroyed in an arson attack overnight.
A Ford Ka and Vauxhall Astra were outside a house on The Beeches, in Birkenshaw, Bradford, when one of them was set alight at about 2.30am.
The fire spread to the other vehicle, but firefighters managed to stop the blaze before it reached the house.
The young couple who owned the cars were at home at the time, but were unaware of what was happening until the fire service arrived.
A neighbour dialled 999 after seeing flames.
A spokesman for Cleckheaton fire station said: "The fire was very close to the property so the couple were quite lucky. We got there just in time before it spread to the house."
